Sound design for a soundwalk written by Lukasz Wojtysko.
I was the sound designer for the second Artistic City Trip Soundwalk in Krakow.
Lukasz Wojtysko, the author of this soundwalk created a caleidoscopic vision and humorous hell of a story. The walk already physically takes you up and down Krakow City. Mentally you are taken even further. Soundwalkers are witnessing crime scenes in Disney like churches wander through exotic jungles, obey to the monstrous rules of a fanatic sports stadion director, meet the mysterious oars woman and a promiscuous lot more.
At the end of this bizarre, yet joyfull journey all soundwalkers have to face a duel with an infamous gunslinger. Whilst the shots are ringing out on top of a mound, everyone is being rewarded by an unmatched view over the whole of Krakau.
Given that all the manyfolded scenes demanded an auditory match, designing the sound of course was a whole lot of work.
And a whole lot of fun.
The positive feedback from the many people actually taking the walk and the wonderful collaboration with Lukasz Wojtysko made this work more than worthwile.
